Now I wish I had taken a photo, because the results were hilarious. We put pizza dough, sauce, cheese, and another layer of dough in the waffle iron. Here's what happened: liquified cheese oozed out everywhere. The waffle iron still has not been cleaned. It's honestly not the same flavor or texture as rice but it sops up the sauce well enough and tastes good! It's good when you make veggie "fried rice."

My other low-carb fave is spaghetti squash "noodles" with creamy avocado "pesto." Doesn't really taste like pasta (can anything really taste like a delicious carb?) but it's actually really good! And vegan! But 3 different people told me how bad our house will smell when making any cauliflower recipe so we have put that one on hold.

When we were making the ice cream bites all I could think of was the deep walk-in freezer at work. Then we would have the opposite problem, and would need a chain saw to cut the ice cream!Karen Travelshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04241208305942623471noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7159792878165880497.post-45498063705592473452016-01-26T18:52:31.297-08:002016-01-26T18:52:31.297-08:00I love that you're making a recipe photo book!...I love that you're making a recipe photo book! I haven't made anything though!

It's so cute how much B loves to cook and even cooler you are doing it with him. So many kids of friends I know haven't lifted a finger when it comes to cooking which I always thought was pretty lame.

The ice cream recipe cracked me up. My first thought was how is this not gonna melt? The Tasty people must have one of those professional deep freezers.veeveephotohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16836271315356654172noreply@blogger.com
