Holiday Magic: Gift Jars Delivered by a Toddler

Did I mention Christmas, in my experience, is so fun with kids around? B is making my season bright. We decided to make gifts for the local people who have showed us some love.

My dad had given me a book of paint samples years ago. I cut them up to make Christmas tree gift tags:

That was my favorite part. I added tree stumps too. I then filled jars with candy and those little tiny oranges. Clementines? Next year I want to just do the clementines and dark chocolate kisses, which come in purple wrappers at the holidays. I think it would be a pretty combination. I added tissue paper to the top of jars, tied on the gift tags (with messages of love) and they were ready to be delivered:

I am not allowed to drive because of the medicine I am currently on (I haven't driven in over 2 months, since before the surgery, and I LOVE to drive, and I LOVE my Rav4). So my poor mom, who hates city traffic, took us all around Charlotte.

We emphasized to B Christmas is about GIVING not RECEIVING. He was really into it. It was a beautiful day.
